Groms Week CV1
After the Snow God played his part and a huge effort by our experienced staff, the much anticipated opening of Craigieburn Valley Ski Field became reality on 18th July.
With opening day experiencing powder galore and the forecast for more snow we couldn’t ask for a better start to Grom’s Week. A total of 20 kids of varying abilities made the pilgrimage to CV with the hope of improving their skiing through our Canadian international ski instructor Sophie guidance, making friends and having fun in the snow.
Highlights
- Angus’ many crashes and still trying to master a ski jump
- Mark’s ability to pick cardboard off the floor with his lips
- Thomas “Bed Boy” winning the slalom race.
- Jack and Amy the most improved skier of the week
- Guitar Ghost making an appearance in Rolline bedroom at 2am after a big night in the bar.
- The “String Game” …… enjoyed by the staff and adults the most…… he he
) - Skiing runs : 210, 4th gut, 6th gut and the secrete bush track out to the hut.
